UTILITIES enhances the functionality of the PULSAR-23 drum machine with a versatile set of auxiliary modules. Ideal for any gear utilizing CV signals, such as Eurorack and semi-modular synthesizers, these modules are divided into two categories: passive elements and amplifiers.

Passive elements like switches, resistors, and capacitors expand your switching and controlling options with PULSAR. The linear amplifiers are perfect for boosting signals from devices with lower voltage outputs to meet PULSAR’s requirements. Whether you’re working with a 5-volt step sequencer or a 1-volt cassette tape recorder, these amplifiers ensure optimal performance by adjusting signals to the necessary 10 volts or 5 volts, respectively.

For more advanced signal manipulation, non-linear and controlled amplifiers and waveshapers adjust signal levels while enhancing sound by altering its spectrum and adding harmonics. These modules feature simple yet elegant circuitry inspired by early transistor-era designs.

UTILITIES is available in two versions: one with PULSAR-23 style turrets for alligator clips, and another with screws for a cost-effective alternative. Both versions include adapters for 3.5mm Eurorack mini-jacks. Constructed with PCB materials, the top panel and enclosure offer durability at a reduced cost.
