Description

MeloDICER by Vermona is a revolutionary sequencer that balances both stochastic and deterministic rhythm and melody creation. With its unique algorithms, it transforms random values into musical events. The MeloDICER can self-generate tempo via the TAP button or sync to an external clock source.

The rhythm section features four controls: Note Value, Variation, Legato, and Rest, allowing you to manipulate note length, duration, and pattern placement. The Rest knob introduces random musical rests into the sequence, while semitone probability faders (C to B) determine the likelihood of each semitone appearing in the pattern.

With a range of up to five octaves, the MeloDICER offers precise control using two range faders for setting the lowest and highest notes. The innovative dice-mode generates new random rhythms and melodies with each press of the DICE buttons. Alternatively, the realtime-mode continuously creates fresh patterns based on your set parameters.

The encoder adjusts pattern length and stores up to 16 patterns. With two CV inputs and gate inputs, you can control various parameters, and the module features two quantizer modes for external CV signals. Connect the Vermona MEX3 expander module to output MIDI data.

Specifications: Power consumption is 150mA at +12 V and 50mA at -12 V. Depth: 25mm, 34 HP.
