MiniMod Sample Hold & Slew is a powerhouse module packed with versatile features, all within a compact 12 HP of rack space. It boasts a Sample & Hold generator, Track & Hold generator with a unique restriction feature, and a Noise source offering color-shaped and clipped noise options. The module includes a wide-range Clock Source and a choice between Linear or Exponential Gated Slew.

Create rich sound textures with the ability to generate random and pseudo-random control voltages, staircase waveforms, and portamento effects. The innovative “Restrict” control allows you to adjust how the hold output evolves, offering creative modulation possibilities. When used in audio processing, the S&H can achieve dynamic downsampling effects, producing everything from subtle aliasing to retro 8-bit Atari sounds.

The onboard clock source doubles as a versatile LFO, capable of transforming into a triangle waveform through the Slew section, providing an extra layer of modulation.
