Description

V-Shape is a versatile dual-module synthesizer component featuring both a wave twister and a distortion/wavefolding module. This all-analogue design allows you to use both sections independently or connect them in series for a seamless sound transformation.

The wave twister section shapes waveforms, such as a sawtooth, into a triangle or ramp waveform with manual or external voltage control, achieving PWM-like tones. It effectively processes symmetrical and asymmetrical waveforms, generating unique harmonics.

The distortion unit offers selectable Soft or Hard Clipping, adjustable via a front panel or external control voltage. Its offset control enhances sound manipulation by adding bias voltage, expanding the range of distortion effects. Additionally, a switchable wavefolder works with both soft and hard clipped waveforms for further sound exploration.
