The Erica Synths Black 3109 VCF/VCA is a combination lowpass filter and voltage-controlled amplifier featuring the AS3109 VCF integrated circuit. This contemporary version of the IR3109 chip, found on vintage Roland synths, offers 24dB/oct lowpass filtering and 1V/oct tracking. The module includes a cutoff level attenuverter and built-in VCA for added versatility. Volume drop compensation has been added to address a common issue with filters based on IR3109. The 3109 VCF/VCA aims to recreate the iconic sound of vintage synths while also improving upon it.
