Description

Vermona twinVCAmp is a versatile dual VCA/2-in-1 mixer that delivers both amplification and attenuation. Unlike typical VCA modules, it features two independently switchable response curves, from linear to semi-logarithmic, tailored for musical audio signals. Each VCA offers an amplification ratio switch from 1:1 to 1:4, enhancing weak inputs while compressing high-level signals.

Use the twinVCAmp as a dual or stereo VCA, voltage-controlled mixer, or overdrive unit. Its design allows independent or combined operation, with VCA1 serving as an offset generator for VCA2 or sharing the same control voltage. The summed output is available separately, adding to its versatility.

Every VERMONA module is crafted in Erlbach, Germany, using quality components for reliability and longevity. The twinVCAmp is a compact addition to any modular synthesizer, with a depth of 30mm and occupying 10 HP. Power consumption is efficient at 60mA (+12 V) and 30mA (-12 V).
