Description

V-Shape is a versatile, dual-function module featuring both a wave twister and a distortion/wavefolding unit. This all-analogue design allows for independent use or series normalization, enabling seamless integration of waveform twisting and distortion.

The wave twister section transforms sawtooth waveforms into triangle or ramp waveforms, offering manual and external voltage control to produce PWM-like tones. It effectively handles symmetrical waveforms like triangles and sines, generating unique harmonics and wave twisting effects.

The distortion unit offers selectable Soft or Hard Clipping, with adjustable clipping via a front panel or external control voltage. The distortion offset control enhances CV signal manipulation, providing an extended control range. Additionally, a switchable wavefolder can be used with clipped waveforms for further sonic exploration.
