Featuring Tung-Sol and Electro-Harmonix tubes, dual CineMag transformers, and a Kenetek opto-cell, the WA-2A delivers smooth, warm compression perfect for vocals, bass, guitars, and drums.

With its discrete signal path and balanced XLR and 1/4″ TRS I/O, the WA-2A ensures high output with minimal noise. Switch between compress mode for moderate attenuation and limit mode for aggressive gain reduction. The adjustable gain and peak reduction controls make operation intuitive, while the “Pre-Emphasis” control allows you to tweak the compressor’s sensitivity to frequencies.

The large VU meter provides clear visibility of gain reduction or output level, which can be easily calibrated. Achieve precise stereo matching by linking two units via a 1/4″ TRS cable, using the rear-panel Stereo Link Adjust control.
