At the heart of DB-01 is an all-analogue sound engine with an advanced sequencer, creating the distinctive Erica Synths signature sound. The aggressive acidbox filter design, alongside a one-knob overdrive, provides a powerful and destructive sound.

The DB-01 also features a transistor-based sub-oscillator, independent amplitude, filter cutoff and pitch envelopes, and a BBD-based detune for a massive swarm sound. Syncable LFO with multiple waveforms enables FM and VCF modulation, and a noise source allows for further sound customization.

The intuitive sequencer supports up to 64 step patterns, sequence transposing, pattern randomization, and an arpeggiator. With its analogue clock in and out, CV/Gate output/input and MIDI IN and THRU, the DB-01 is easy to integrate into your setup. It also offers 8 banks of 16 pattern memory and a compact, durable aluminium enclosure for longevity.
